Livingston County is seeking input for help in developing a transportation plan to help connect communities in Livingston County. The plan is multi-modal, which includes vehicle, public transportation, bike and pedestrian.
Until Oct. 12, the community is invited to take an online survey about the future of Livingston County's transportation system. The survey can be found at surveymonkey.com/s/LivingstonCounty_General.
As stated in a letter signed by Livingston County Board of Supervisors chairman James Merrick, the survey, "is designed to gather feedback on different transportation issues, ideas and concepts and gives people the opportunity to comment."
The input will help the county identify the transportation system's strengths, weaknesses and areas in need of improvements; future needs and trends and to develop a comprehensive plan for creating a transportation system that serves all its users.
The letter also invites the public to contact Livingston County Planning Department at aellis@co.livingston.ny.us or 585-243-7550 for a hardcopy of the survey sent to you, or any questions or comments.
