Katz is survived by cousins, Nancy Harju of Orland, Fla., Bob Kern of Rochester, and Ron Kern of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and close friends. Viewing was followed with a Rosary on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 969 Ulysses St., Golden. Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment in Golden Cemetery.
