Sara Lynn Frost, 54, of Seward Street in Dansville, passed away Monday evening, Oct. 29, at home following a long illness.

She was born in Dansville on Nov. 1, 1957, a daughter of Donald and Mary (Freas) Monahan who survive. For the past 29 years she has been the loving companion of Mark Hainey.

Sara worked for the NYSDOT in Henrietta for 30 years. She was a loving mother to seven children that she and Mark shared. She was also a loving grandmother of eight — soon to be nine.
Surviving in addition to her parents, Dona and Mary, and her companion, Mark Hainey of Dansville, are their children, Mike (Savannah) Frost of Dansville, Matt Frost of Rush, Erin (Mike) Kewin of Fairport, Tracy Frost of Dansville, Kristy (Patrick) Hainey of Rush, Rebecca (Scott) Stanley of Dansville, Stacey (Phill) Hainey also of Dansville; her sister, Colleen (Jim) Cone of Dansville; a niece, Mary Cone and eight grandchildren.

No prior calling hours. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Dansville.
