Joanne S. Koch was born in Natrona Heights, Pa., on Nov. 10, 1933, and was called to be with the Lord on Sept. 18, 2012.

Joanne was very active as a volunteer at Noyes Memorial Hospital, the Dansville Presbyterian Church, she worked on the Board of Elections and enjoyed working out with the “Silver Sneakers.”  Over the years she spent many hours sitting on the bleachers watching her sons and five grandsons in many sporting events.  She was a diehard fan of the Buffalo Bills.

Joanne was predeceased by a son, Larry; her mother and father, Vera and Warren Stringer; husband, Jack Koch; and second husband, Wes.

She is survived by her daughter, Deb (Dan) Guy of Dansville; sons, Jeffrey (Terrie) Koch of Rochester, Kent (Molly) Koch of Dansville and Kurt (Denise Gates) Koch of Rochester; grandchildren, Jordan, Nathan, Tyler, Megan, Max and Gage; and many friends.

A memorial service will be Saturday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. in the Dansville Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at hindlefuneralhome.com. Reference Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville.
