The Livingston County Sheriff's Office has charged two in connection with a string of burglaries in West Sparta.
Deputies charged Heather A. Hoffman, 30, of Perkinsville, and Brian L. Mehlenbacher, 33, of Nunda, with second-degree burglary, a class C felony, in connection with the burglaries.
Both were arraigned in the Town of West Sparta and remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
Wayland-based New York State Police assisted with the investigation.
