News to know

Libyan authorities said today that several arrests have been made in connection with the murder of a U.S. ambassador and three others. Officials did not reveal the names of those arrested but said they have been detained and are being investigated. Meanwhile, violence continued Thursday in Africa and the Middle East because of an anti-Muslim video posted on YouTube.

Quote of note

"The entire cast and crew are extremely upset and feel taken advantage of by the producer. … (We are) shocked by the drastic rewrites of the script and lies that were told to all involved. We are deeply saddened by the tragedies that have occurred." – Statement from the actors who appeared in the anti-Muslim video. Several have come forward to say the dialogue was dubbed over to make a one-time innocuous film become anti-Muslim.
