Three event highlights
1 For the second year in a row, the Dansville Area Historical Society's annual dinner program and meeting will continue with the theme of the sesquicentennial of the American Civil War. Last year was local Civil War monuments.
2 This year, Les Buell of East Williamson will be presenting “Medicines of the Civil War.” Buell is a Civil War reinactor who takes his knowledge of the era’s medical history beyond the reinactment camps and into schools and other venues to conduct programs such as this.
3 Aside from the program, enjoy a spaghetti dinner, hear what the historical society has done this past year, and get to know its slate of officers, as well as see who will be joining the board this coming year. Tickets sell fast, so get yours now.
