Vernon C. Teeter, 82, of Winterville, N.C., died April 8, 2012.
Vernon was born Aug. 29, 1929, in Dansville, the son of the late James and Sylvia Teeter.
Other than his parents, Vernon was predeceased by his brothers, James and William; sisters, Margaret Fox, Florence Verstreate, Katherine Mercer, Dorothy Kuhn and Lorraine Towne; and his children, David and Kimberly.
Vernon is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth; two sons, John and Michael, both of North Carolina; brothers, Kenneth of Williamston, N.C., and Robert of Dansville; and a sister, Betty Mann of North Carolina.
There will be no calling hours.
