Cora M. Young, 91, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012. Cora was born on Aug. 9, 1921, a daughter of the late Scott and Bertha VanScooter. She is predeoeased by her husband Ernest Young.
She was a member of the Websters Crossing United Methodist Church, Auxiliary of the Conesus American Legion and Springwater Historical Society.
She is survived by her son Edward Young of Nunda; two step-sons, Norbert (Judy) Benson of Florida and Rodney (Bonnie) Vanscooter of Hornell; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchiidren; two sisters, Ruth McAfee of Avon and Mildred Stone of Mt. Morris; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, at the Walter E. Baird & Sons Funeral Home in Wayland, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday.
