Born Aug. 23, 1922. Our mother went to see her Lord on Nov. 26, 2012. Oldest daughter of William and Ethel Bennett.

She is predeceased by her parents; sisters, Elizabeth (Betty) Hudgins, Elaine Alton; husbands, Stanley (Paddy) Didas and James (Jim) Bailey; grandsons, Douglas Bush and Mark Klien; and special son, Roger Kemp. Mom is survived by her children, Judith (Bob) Bush, Carleton "Butch" (Elizabeth) Allen, Larry (Gail) Allen, Gene (Lillie) Allen, Carol (Steve) Preston, Mike (Maryanne) Allen, Pat (Mary Ann) Didas; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and dear friend, Virginia Sheflin.

We would like to thank all of her caregivers for the wonderful care she received.

Mom may have worked on your automobile, waited on you or your family at the Castle on the Hill hotel. She may have cared for your loved one at Craig Colony in Sonyea, she may have taken care of your loved one through the Livingston County Hospice, or enjoyed having coffee with you. Our Mom was a loving mother, teaching us as we grew to follow the right morals and values. She taught us that whatever we did in life, we were to love one another, help others, enjoy what we are doing, and always keep humor and laughter in our lives.

There will be a private memorial service at Sparta Methodist Church at the discretion of the family. In memory of our mother, contributions may be made to Dansville Ambulance, Ossian St. Dansville, NY or Livingston County Hospice, 2 Murray Hill Dr., Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
