Vincent James McGavisk Jr., 49, passed away on Christmas night in his sleep.
Vince was a graduate of Dansville High School in 1980. He was employed as a Steamfitter with the Local 13 Union in Rochester, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, music, playing guitar and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving parents, Mary Arm and Vincent McGavisk Sr. of Dansville; siblings, Karen (Kevin) Sawdey of North Greece, Michael (Danielle) McGavisk of Newark, Mark McGavisk of Dansville and Anne (Bill) Baker of Dansville; five nieces, three nephews, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Chamberlin-Baird Funeral Home, 73 Main St., Dansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Dansville.
