PENN YAN – Eleanor Baley, 89, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services and burial were at the Oaklawn Cemetery of Oaks Corners at the convenience of the family.
Eleanor was born to Watson and Mildred Bush in January 1923. She was married to Charles Baley on Jan. 27, 1941, in Scottsburg.
She was an honorary member of the St. Bernard Club of the Finger Lakes.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Burgess and Carol (Glenn) Thompson; five sons, Roy (Barbara) Baley, Thomas (Joanne) Baley, Charles (Gayle) Baley, Ronald (Joyce) Baley and Richard (Diane) Baley; 24 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; one sister; and two sisters-in-law.
