Lucile E. Ritchey, 84, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012.
Lucile was born Oct. 27, 1927, in Dansville, a daughter of Harry and Gladys (Bolger) Finch. She was predeceased by her husband, Mahlon Ritchey in 1996. Lucile was a homemaker and mother of five children. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by two sisters, Harriet Johnson and Hazel Cox.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and crafts, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Dewey Ritchey, Linda Cox, Ludy Pratt, Joe Ritchey and Bob Ritchey; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters; and 13 nieces and nephews.
In honor of Lucile’s request, there will be no prior calling. A private graveside memorial service will be held at Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville, at the convenience of the family. Chamberlin–Baird Funeral Home, 73 Main St., Dansville, is in charge of arrangements.
