Leo E. Howe, 84, of Leesburg, Fla., born Jan. 18, 1927, in Dansville, died Friday, Dec. 30, 2011. He moved to Leesburg from Dansville in 1981.
He was a retired welder for Foster Wheeler Energy Company and a Veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, was an avid bowler and golfer. He was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church of Leesburg.
He is survived by his wife, Betty R. Howe of Leesburg, Fla.; son, Steven L. Howe of Dansville, daughter-in-law Sandra Howe; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. No services are planned.
