DANSVILLE — A Wayland woman was arrested by Livingston County Sheriff's Deputies following a traffic stop in the Village of Dansville.
On Nov. 8, Deputy Connor Sanford of the Sheriff's STOP DWI unit was on patrol in the Village of Dansville when the license plate reader on the patrol vehicle alerted him that a passing vehicle had a suspended registration for no insurance in effect.
The Deputy Sheriff conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Morgan W. Hagadone, 22, of Wayland. The Deputy Sheriff observed drug paraphernalia in plain view and a subsequent search of the vehicle produced capsules containing white powder, a quantity of marijuana and packaging commonly used for distribution of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia. The white powder was field tested and came back positive for cocaine.
Hagadone was taken into custody and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
Hagadone was brought to the Livingston County Jail for arrest processing and pre-arraignment detention. Hagadone was later arraigned by Village of Avon Justice Temperato who did remand Hagadone to the custody of the Sheriff on $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond.
