GENESEO — An Addison man was arrested on drug related charges after a traffic stop by Livingston County Sheriff's Deputies.

On Saturday, Deputy Shawn Whitford stopped a vehicle on Interstate 390 for a traffic violation.

The operator of the vehicle was identified as Robert A. Desandro, 64, of Addison. During the roadside interview, the deputy allegedly observed crack cocaine in plain view on the driver seat. Further investigation revealed that Desandro was in possession of crack cocaine on his person as well.

Desandro was arrested and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Desandro was turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for processing and pre-arraignment detention.

Desandro was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part (LC-CAP) at the Livingston County Jail, before Village of Dansville Justice Scott Kenney. The Judge released Desandro without bail conditions and deputies set him free.
