NORTH DANSVILLE — Livingston County Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty reports the arrest of a Brooklyn man on felony charges after a traffic stop.
On Oct. 7, at approximately 4:35 p.m., Deputy Matt Thomas stopped a vehicle on Interstate 390 in the Town of North Dansville for a traffic violation.
The operator of the vehicle was identified as Rosmark Palen, 29, of Brooklyn. A driver’s license check revealed that Palen’s driving privileges had been suspended 17 times.
Palen was taken into custody by the Deputy Sheriff and charged with felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, along with other traffic violations, including driving with a suspended registration and driving without insurance.
Palen was arraigned on the felony level charge by Town of Conesus Justice Ellen Coyne. The Judge remanded Palen to the custody of the Sheriff on $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 bond.
