COHOCTON — The Steuben County Office for the Aging has opened a new “Dining Club” on the third Thursday in August and September at the First Presbyterian Church, 54 Maple St., Cohocton.

The clubs are offered in the county through ProAction of Steuben and Yates around noon. They provide a social atmosphere while also easing meal preparation for seniors and giving them a nutritionally well-balanced meal. Beneficial nutrition and health information also are provided at the clubs, county OFA officials said.

Suggested meal donations are $3.50 for those 60 and older; with a cost of $7 for those under 60. Reservations are required a day in advance by calling the number listed with each site.
