DANSVILLE — Dansville Junior Aidan Kreiley, 16, is headed to Irvine, California to compete in the 2018 USA Swimming Speedo Jr. National Championships in the 100 Breaststroke and 200 Breaststroke.

This past weekend Kreiley, a member local club Mercury Swimming, competed in the Niagara Long Course Championships in Buffalo, NY where he won both the 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke championships. During the 200 breaststroke Kreiley ran away from the competition and broke the Niagara boys 15 and 16 year old record that stood for 14 years.

While in Buffalo, Kreiley also swam a handful of other events and placed well in all of them.

On Tuesday July 31st and Friday August 3, Aidan will swim at the William Woollett Aquatics Center in Irvine, California against some of the fastest 18 and under swimmers in the country.

Aidan also has two younger brothers, Zackary and Jacob, who also swim for Mercury Swimming. Zackary, 13, also competed this weekend in Buffalo. Zack is still finding his way but had a great weekend, dropping time in every event he swam.
