AVON — An Avon woman has been arrested on rape charges after an investigation by the Livingston County Sheriff's Office.
On June 24, sheriff's deputies responded to an address in Avon to investigate an incident that occurred approximately three years ago. It is alleged that 42-year-old Holly M. Orman had sexual relations with a 14-year-old while tent camping on a property in the Town of Avon. It is also alleged that the incident occurred while three other children under the age of 9 were also sleeping in the tent.
Orman was charged with felony second-degree rape, felony second-degree criminal sexual act, forcible touching, and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Orman was arraigned and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 property bond.
The Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation with Child Protective Services.
