I have wanted to have my own business for quite some time. I looked for a need in the community — and I started a childrens store.
My experience as a convenient store manager has helped me to develop this business.
What do you like most about your work?
The thing I like most about my work is the opportunity to meet and talk with people from all over New York and from other states. And I like to be able to help famillies save money and shop locally.
What advice do you have for someone who wants to open a business?
Do a lot of research. Make sure there is a need for what you want to sell or do. Talk with and get advice from experinced business owners.
