Where’s the horse?
That’s the question around town the last few weeks. The 10-foot-tall white horse that stood in front of the high school gym for the last 10 years is missing, or is it? It’s actually been at Dansville Collision getting painted black with red trim. After 10 years out in the weather, the paint was getting faded and the white vinyl fence had been repaired a few times.
The horse was originally purchased and installed by the Dansville Rotary club and donated to the school. It has been a favorite picture spot for graduates for many years.
The Rotary club thanks Dave Hoag of Dansville Collision and Nancy Nice owner of Custom Craft Signs for donationg their time and materials. The horse is now a beautiful shiny black and red with red and white Mustang logo on the side. The fence was purchased at Rogers and Tenbrook’s. Kevin Weidman from Main Tire Exchange, installed the fence and horse.
The horse is now back up in its corral in front of the high school gym.
