More than 13,000 donated books are on sale at the fifth annual Vincent House Book Fair this year. The book fair runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 20-23 at Nugget Hill in Wayland.
Nugget Hill manager Brad Brown couldn’t be more excited for the event. “The books are delivered and they are beautiful,” he said. Despite volunteers sorting through the thousands of books this week, Brown knows it’s just the beginning.
“Collecting 13,000 books is hard enough,” he admitted. “Selling 13,000 books is even harder.”
Stop in at the “Book Lovers” dinner Friday night from 5-7 for a BBQ meal. Tickets can be bought at the door.
Saturday will feature a $3.00 per bag day.
“I hope everyone gets a chance to stop by Nugget Hill,” said Brown. “I guarantee there is a book here for you.”
