Dansville area youth once again took to the limelight Aug. 9, 10 and 11 as the Children's Summer Theater troupe perfomed "Seussical Jr.," which combined the stories of "Horton Hears a Who" and "Horton Hatches the Egg" with other memoral Dr. Seuss characters intermingled into one play.
Seventeen children ages 8 to 13 participated, plus several adult volunteers helped make costumes, set design, plus run sound and helped with ticket sales and in other areas.
This year's production was also a family affair. Diana's husband, Tim, was sound technician with Matt Gibson, while her daughter Margaret was musical director/consultant. Diana took a back seat to the bulk of the directing this year as she enlisted her son, Timothy, a Children's Theater alumni, as this year's main director and choreographer.
