What made you decide to run for Dansville School Board?
With two young daughters in school, I felt it was a good time to run. I work in a school everyday, so I felt that I could bring knowledge that would help the district.
What goals do you have as a new school board member?
Dansville is not immune to the financial struggle facing schools right now. My goal is to help the district through the flood of unfunded mandates and maintain programs despite the pressure of reduced funding.
Is there anything you would like to say to the public now that you're on the board?
Now is a difficult time for schools and it is my hope that I can to your expectations.
