Six kids were hurt by an exploding gas can in Texas today. According to reports, Obama was prepared to fly from Hawaii to Texas at tax payer expense to stand amongst the charred remains in front of cameras, until he heard the disheartening news that the children were only seriously injured, not killed. Anxious members of the gas can industry await his declaration that Congress should be banning metal containers as a top priority when that deliberative body meets again. In addition, the president is apparently going to call for a ban on Texas, fire, gasoline and children in general.
