When Stone Brewing Company released Lukcy Basartd in 2010, I instantly fell in love with this beer.
I instantly declared it the best of the Bastard series of beers, but unfortunately, it was supposed to be a one-time release.
However, Stone has announced that Lukcy Basartd, along with the newest batch of Double Bastard, will be out in stores locally soon. It was released today in California.
Lukcy Basartd, which plays havoc with my spell check, is a blend of all of the other Bastard beers – Arrogant Bastard, Double Bastard and Oaked Arrogant Bastard. It is a truly wonderful beer if you’re a hophead.
Both beers will be available in bombers and on draft. Double Bastard will also be available in three liter bottles.
I know I’m going to stock up on Lukcy Basartd as soon as I see it, and you should to, as long as you think you’re worthy.
