There are a couple of really cool events coming up in the next two Saturdays.
First, on Saturday, I will be signing copies of my book, “Beer Lover’s New England,” and the Craft Beer Cellar in Belmont. If you haven’t been there, it’s worth making the trip – an absolutely fantastic store.
While there, if you want, feel free to pick up a copy of my book and I’ll sign it for you. I hear there may be some beer sampling going on, too. The signing is from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Also on Saturday, the British Beer Company on Rte. 9 in Framingham is hosting 
Oktoberfest from noon to closing. The event will feature a host of Oktoberfest beers – Spaten, Paulaner, Weihenstephaner, Samuel Adams, Jack’s Abby’s Copper Legend and Harpoon – on tap.
They will also have a few German-themed dishes available, including German creamed chicken.
Coming up next weekend, on Oct. 6, Julio’s Liquors will be hosting a Cider Festival from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. This should be a great event – there are a host of different ciders that produce numerous different flavors. If you haven’t had a chance to try some craft ciders, this is a great chance for you.
