Q: I recently saw an ad for the Buick Encore all-wheel drive SUV and would like your opinion on this small SUV.
A: I spent a week in the Encore all-wheel drive premium from Korea and found the vehicle to be a great vehicle to drive. The rear seat area is a bit tight, but take into consideration this is a downsized SUV. A powerful 1.4-liter turbo-charged four-cylinder via a six-speed automatic delivers plenty of power and gas mileage. Our test Encore base price was $29,690, with all options and shipping $32,425. This Korean-built GM SUV has everything going for it, 23 city, 30 highway miles per gallon, and was a joy to drive.
