Eight days before the recent presidential election, MSNBC morning host and former Republican Congressman Joe Scarborough, lashed out at polling analysts in general and Nate Silver in particular for their claims that President Obama had a solid lead in electoral votes.
“Nate Silver says this is a 73.6 percent chance that the president’s going to win,” Scarborough observed. ”Nobody in [Obama's] campaign thinks they have a 73.6 percent — they think they have a 50.1 percent chance of winning.
