  • The Wayland High School class of 1953 held its 61st. Reunion last Friday at their usual place T. J. Leisure Restaurant in Livonia. With spouses and friends there were about 30 attending. From a distance was Art & Judy (Edmond) Page from Virginia Beach. The reunion also gave the Pages the opportunity to visit relatives in the area.
Sundays winner of the 50-week club at the Perkinsville Fire Hall was Norma Mark.
The Frank and Mary Bricks family reunion was held last Sunday at the Perkinsville Rod & Gun Club. Those attending from a distance were Dennis & Sally Lockwood and John McGinnes from West Winfield, N.Y., and Kathaleen Getman from West Point, Va. And James Smyder from Ilion, N.Y. Marguerite Wilson from Salamanca and her daughter Linda Polling and husband Noel also from Salamanca. It's wonderful how such a delicious variety of food is brought and one can't say enough about the reminiscing that takes place. We are hoping the younger generation will get hit by the bug and become aware of how important extended family is and continue the reunions. With the hill climb scheduled in Dansville the same weekend of our family reunion
Out of town relatives found out hotel rooms were not available. Kathaleen and Jim Snyder were our guests for the weekend. Kathaleen also attended her 69th Dansville class reunion Saturday afternoon at the Sunrise.
