GENESEO — The Livingston County Drug Task Force reports the arrest of four people for allegedly trafficking narcotics in Livingston County after several months of investigation. Those arrested are:
Zachary J. Hughes, 28, of Caledonia, charged with three counts each of fourth-degree criminal sale of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana; Hughes was arraigned in Caledonia Village Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
William T. Clevenger, 32, of Dansville, arrested on a Superior Court warrant and charged with fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Clevenger was arraigned in Livingston County Court and held on $15,000 cash bail.
John D. Thornton, 37 of Mount Morris, charged with fourth-degree criminal sale of marijuana, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana. Thornton was arraigned in Leicester Town Court and sent to the county jail on $1,000 cash bail.
Jeremy T. Smith, 21, of Nunda, was charged with criminal sale of fifth-degree marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana. Smith was arraigned in Mount Morris Village Court and held in lieu $500 cash bail.
