CONESUS — A 28-year-old Nunda man was arrested Friday on a felony criminal contempt charge after allegedly violating an order of protection.

Livingston County Sheriff's Office deputies said Adam J. Bucci committed actions that put fear into the protected party over the last several months.

Bucci was arraigned in the Town of Sparta Court before Judge Scallion. Bucci was remanded to the custody of the sheriff and is being held in Livingston County Jail on $100,000 cash bail.

The bail is high because of his previous arrest record having multiple criminal contempt arrests, as well as a previous extradition from Florida, deputies said.

This was the recommendation of the Livingston County District Attorney's Office.

Assisting in the investigation were Livingston County deputies Caleb Cutting and Michael Wade and investigators Brad Schneider and Josh Monster.
