Alice G. 'Sue' Goho

DANSVILLE — Alice G. "Sue" Goho, 79, passed away Saturday March 29, 2014 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.

Sue was born March 31, 1934, in Wadsworth the daughter of the late James B. and Arline L. (Deal) Hagan.

Sue and Clifford H. "Corky" Goho were married March 7th, 1952, at the rectory of St. Patrick’s Church in Dansville. Together they have celebrated over 62 years of marriage.

She was employed as a supervisor and central store clerk at Noyes Memorial Hospital for over 25 years. Sue enjoyed traveling to the Thousand Islands and the Amish Country in Lancaster, PA., over the years. Throughout the years, Sue also enjoyed bowling, bingo, camping and snowmobiling. Mostly, though, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sue is survived by her husband Corky of Dansville; her children, Darla (Richard) Kennell of Arkport, Donna (John) Lauffer, of Waverly and Debra (Walt) Barnhart of Nunda; grandchildren, Dylan (Beth) Penta, Ryan and Joshua Penta, Brandi (Paul) Taylor, Matthew (Miranda) Lauffer, Alissa Barnhart and Amelia Barnhart (Jason Robb); great-grandchildren, Jacx and Estelle Penta, Colin and Keira Taylor, Kylie McDonald, Bianca Barnhart, Jason Robb, Gemma Sue Robb; her brother, Charles (Faith) Hagan of Dansville; along with several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Kaitlyn.

Sue’s family and friends called Tuesday at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland. Her funeral service will be Wednesday (April 2) at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Steven Jewell officiating. Committal prayers and internment will take place immediately following at Greenlawn Cemetery.
