Registered sex offender Earl L. Kinter, 25, has been charged with disseminating indecent material to minors in the second degree, a class E felony.
Kinter was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor for allegedly contacting girls who were under the age of 17, according to the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation Unit in Bath.
As a result of a March 25 investigation, Kinter, of Cohocton, was arrested after it was alleged he sent nude photos to girls under the age of 17 through Facebook and asked for nude photos of the females.
Kinter was arraigned in Town of Bath Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail. He is scheduled to reappear in Town of Bath Court on April. 7. The investigation is continuing and additional charges are pending.
