GENESEO — An alleged crack cocaine trafficker was jailed Friday on a felony charge, the Livingston County Drug Task Force reported.

Randall D. Steele, 33, of Rochester, was identified as an alleged trafficker of crack cocaine into Livingston County. He was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies, after a two-month investigation.

Steele was arraigned in Geneseo Town Court and remanded to the custody of the sheriff in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond. Steele was turned over to the county jail. He is due to appear in court at a later date.

The Livingston County Drug Task Force includes members of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Avon Police Department, Caledonia Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration, Geneseo Police Department, Mount Morris Police Department, New York State Park Police, Nunda Police Department, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Livingston County District Attorney’s Office.
