Thanks to a grant from the New York Council for the Humanities, Penn Yan Public Library will host a four-part series that will explore the westward expansion of the New York State frontier. 

Historian and author Dr. Peter Eisenstadt will lead series discussions centered on four books that explore this topic.  The series kicks off Wednesday, March 30 at 6:30 p.m. with, “The Battle for New York: the City at the Heart of the American Revolution” by Barnet Schecter.
