Three event highlights

1 Now in its 24th year, the local Wheels For Life Bike-A-Thon has raised more than $140,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

2 In addition to biking or walking laps around Cohocton Elementary School, the event will include a brand new bicycle given to the boy and girl who raise the most money; plus drawings for other prizes and a raffle for a locally-made quilt. Free fun stuff throughout the day includes a hot dog lunch, ice cream sundaes, face painting and snacks.

3 To participate, complete a sponsor form available at Wayland-Cohocton Elementary School or through emailing margaretadams114@gmail.com. Bring a completed sponsor form to the event. Monies are due no later than two weeks after the event.

Why you should attend

“It is a great way for the entire family to come and have fun while helping other families and children in need.”

— Margaret Adams, organizer
