In a release dated Nov. 17, Livingston County Chamber of Commerce president Cynthia Oswald notified the public that she will be leaving her post to pursue a part time position with Noyes Hospital in Dansville.
The release stated that she will be working on a part-time basis as the director of public relations and the Foundation.
"It has been both a professional and personal pleasure to serve as president of the chamber and executive director of LCEA working with my board of directors who, by their confidence in me and my exceptional colleagues provided an atmosphere for creativity, energy and healthy risk taking that benefited the chamber membership and community partners," she said in the release.
"The great work of the chamber goes on! I am confident as leadership changes the chamber team will remain strong. For over eight years we have been building a vital foundation necessary for continued growth in value and respect as Livingston County's premiere business association."
She begins her new career Nov.
